Honesty Station Seoul Mapo Hotel Review - Check if it's a good accommodation

The owner is very kind, and this was my first time choosing a homestay-like place. Overall, I am very satisfied and highly recommend it!

Although the room isn’t particularly large, it’s cozy and well-equipped, making for a comfortable stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the common area on the 5th floor: there’s a coffee machine, hot and cold water dispenser, and even a washing machine! The best part is the instant noodles they provide, which are the delicious local Korean flavors. Having a bowl when I was hungry at night was pure happiness.

The location is amazing for me:

Just a 3-5 minute walk downstairs to get to Line 2 and Line 5, making it convenient to go anywhere.

Compared to Myeongdong, which is expensive and noisy, I personally prefer the cost-effectiveness and the lively atmosphere here.

A few steps outside and there are convenience stores and various delicious restaurants.

It’s also very close to Seoul Station. I enjoy walking and even walked directly from here to Namdaemun Market.

Additionally, the underfloor heating in the room is very effective. I didn’t know how to turn it on the first day, but I kept it on every day afterwards, and the room was warm and cozy, making winter in Korea feel not cold at all.

I want to especially thank the owner! I tend to ask a lot of questions, but the owner is always very patient, not only answering all my queries but also thoughtfully recommending local authentic eateries nearby, and I didn’t have any bad experiences.

My stay here was fantastic, and I will choose this place again when I visit Seoul next time!

There is no elevator, but since I mentioned in advance that my feet hurt, they prepared a room for me on the second floor.

Moreover, Jongmin came to meet me right after my arrival on the first floor, helped carry my luggage, explained how to use the electronic lock of the room, and even fulfilled my requests for additional hangers and large bath towels, which was a great help.

Indeed, the room was small, but it was very clean, the floor heating was warm, and it was a cozy space. I opened my suitcase and stored it under the bed, using it like a drawer.

The shared facilities on the fifth floor were also well-equipped, and everyone used the dishes cleanly, washing them with detergent, which made it very comfortable.

One point to note is that the height of the stairs varies in some places. In particular, the entrance on the second floor has irregular steps, so you need to be careful of your footing.

I would definitely like to use this place again if given the chance.

First of all, the staff is great! They respond to messages promptly, are friendly and enthusiastic, and since we are two girls, they helped us with our luggage, which we are really grateful for! 🥰 The cleanliness of the room is also very good, clean and comfortable, and the location is very convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from the subway station. The common areas are also very nice, highly recommended!
